Some specific prayers requests...

On a side note of things that I am struggling with, last time I was here I noticed that language barrier, but not as much as I have this time. Maybe because I was with Ann all the time, and I wasn’t in large groups of people who spoke the same language, and just naturally fell back into speaking it instead of English, but this time it feels way harder. I honestly cannot imagine what it is like to be working among people who speak no English at all. I realize I shouldn’t complain, and that atleast most of them can speak some English, but it is still a struggle. When things are going well in the boys house, its all good. But if something is going wrong, or they are arguing or discussing something, I am completely out of the loop. Yes, this is manageable for a time, but after a couple of weeks of it, its frustrating. I will have no idea what the situation is until Henry or someone else explains it to me later, which could be seconds or hours, depending. Anyways, I am not trying to complain, but definitely asking for prayer. I know that Satan is at work and I ask that you keep us in your prayers. Patience for not only myself, but for Henry and the boys as they have to explain everything to me.

More in the area of requests, the new boys have been with us for 6 days now, and things are definitely starting to get stirred up within the house. Getting used to the new rules and living with so many other boys definitely has its challenges. Henry and Alex have been great with them so far, so please pray that the boys will continue to feel at home, and will be willing to give up their lives on the streets. Also for the boys already in the house, that they will be welcoming and willing to accept them where they are at.

Finally, and importantly…Water. The boys water has been cut off, and you can imagine what it is like without water. We have paid our water bill, but the owner of the property has not, and we are now going on to day 4 of no water. This means no water for washing clothes, dishes, bodies or for cooking with, drinking, etc. Please pray that the owner will take care of this problem sooner than later so that the boys don’t have to walk to different places to try to find someone who will allow them to take water from them.
